The Face On The Milk Carton – Weekly Reading Response Blog

So far in the book I’m reading, Janie is just an average fifteen year old. She’s always felt a year younger then her friends and peres and then one day she finds out she really is! She was at school, It was her lunch period. Everyone was waiting eagerly to see which missing child would be printed on the side of a milk carton today. Sadly due to Janie lactose intolerance (meaning shes allergic to milk) she was not able to drink the milk which just made her want the milk even more. When her friend wasn’t looking she took a quick sip of her milk and looked at the side curious to see who the missing child. To her suprise she reconized the little girl on the side and then shockingly relized it was really her. Now shes confused about who she really is and who her parent(s) are.
