I noticed that the three main characters Ray, Tyrone and Prem have hard life. Rays life is hard because of his parents and the fact that his education is not the greatest. Tyrone’s life is hard because sometimes his dad can be strange and like Ray his eductaion also isnt that great. Prem’s life is hard because his parents have different hopes for him than he has for himself and like his two bestfriends his education isnt the greatest. There life is changing now that they are staring to be in the music industry.

The language the author used is in a language that teens and pre teens would understand. It is not to formal, which makes it easier to understand. I think that the author wrote this way to appeal to his audience and get them hooked on the book.

The authors craft is the language he uses and that he makes the story interesting and in a way suspenseful. The language is effective because it makes it easier to understand the book. I know that in the past when reading a book it would use to much of formal language and I wouldnt be able to undertstand it. He makes the story interesting and suspenseful because of the detail he gives and the storyline.

I can relate to the 3 main characters because they all have high hopes and dreams. I also have high hopes and dreams in the fuure.
