Mockingjay, Chapter 6~ Suzanne Collins

1. Tell me what you like or dislike about the book, and why.

I dislike how Peeta isn’t in it as much because he was my favourite character because he was not only interesting, but he was very fun to listen to. I like how District 13 is a huge underground society, because it has been blown up before, because of the Rebels.  Another thing that I like is how Katniss picked up Buttercup for her sister, Prim. I can relate to that because I have a cat and if he went missing, or something, I’d be really sad and angry! >:

3. Tell what you noticed about the characters, such as what made them act as they did or how they changed.

I noticed that Prim has been more serious, starting from when the firebombs took out District 12, and some of it’s population of people. In the book, Katniss actually stated that Prim has been acting more serious and more mature then last time, and Katniss said that she can relate to Prim better, and talk to her about more things about her life, and the Capitol, and dark secrets… Gale has also changed. He has been acting just a sliver more mature than when he was in The Hunger Games, and Catchingfire.

16. Tell what you think could be changed in the book to make it better for readers.

In my opinion, I think that if it was up to myself- considering, I am the “reader(s)”-  if Peeta was in it more, because he’s truly great!

4. Write about something in the book that surprised you or that you found interesting.

Somethings that surprised me are the Capitol killing Cinna, taking Peeta for their own sick reasons, and beating and brusing Katniss’s Prep Team. Something that was interesting was that District 13 had an underground HUGE society, because that seems very very amazing!
