The Great Escape

7. Tell about the connections that you made while reading the book. Tell how it reminds you of yourself, of people you know, or of something that happened in your life. It might remind you of other books, especially the characters, the events, or the setting.

One connection that I made is that when my Grandma passed away my family went to her house and I found this weird looking cross and I did some research on it and it turns out that it is a Nazi Iron Cross and in the book it talks about the cross.

3. Tell what you noticed about the characters, such as what made them act as they did or how they changed.

It wasn’t just one person I feel like all of the prisoners changed when they found out that most of the men who escaped died and i think it made them give up on escaping and lost hope for freedom.

12. Do you relate to any of the characters in the book? Explain how and why.

I feel like I am Rodger because sometimes when nobody knows what to do I feel like I have to step in and take charge.

6. Ask for help in figuring out meaning of your book.

I don’t know if there is a meaning to this book because i don’t think there is one but there may be a hidden message that’s hard to figure out.
