Mockingjay, Suzanne Collins~ [Still] Chapter 7

PN: THE WHOLE TIME, I WAS READING MOCKINGJAY, BUT BECAUSE I’M COOL LIKE THAT, BY ACCIDENT I KEPT PUTTING CATCHINGFIRE! SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION…

5. Write your predictions and about whether your predictions were right.

Well, before I read Mockinjay I predicted that Katniss would become the Mockingjay. Its obviously true, because it said it in the book. I thought this because when Cinna got killed in Catchingfire, I knew Katniss wouldn’t stand for it (:

7. Tell about the connections that you made while reading the book. Tell how it reminds you of yourself, of people you know, or of something that happened in your life. It might remind you of other books, especially the characters, the events, or the setting.

Well, I connected to when the lady, Messalla, because I think that its a type of Indian Food, and I’ve had Indian Food before. MMM! Good.

9. Write about the language the author used and why you think the author wrote this way.

The author writes with massive details, thats a very high reason why I read this series. The details are spot on, and amazing to listen to and to read. I really enjoy reading the book, also, because its fun to hear about Katniss’ life. I think the author, Suzanne Collins, wrote with this much amount of detail because she, well… I don’t really know. I guess that she wrote like this because she wanted to, or maybe because she thinks people will read the book more if it is more detailed. In my opinion, I strongly believe that this is the best book with the best and most amazing amount of detail(s) that I have ever read!

10. Write about the author’s craft – what was effective about the way the author wrote.

The authors “craft” was probably (like I said in question 9) she used a massive and fantastic amount of details in all 3 of her books, “The Hunger Games,” “Catchingfire” and “Mockingjay.”
