The Karate Kid – Weekly Reading Response Blog

I just started reading the book ” The karate kid” by B.B. Hiller and I am on chapter 4 and so far it is a intresting book. It is about a boy named Daniel who has just moved from New Jersey to Californa with his mom. Already Daniel has made a freind named Freddy, and somehow Daniel has made the impression to Freddy that he knows karate. Freddy just invited Daniel to a beach party before school starts and while he is there he had met Ali this girl that he is falling for. While they are at the beach a group of kids come ridding down to the beach on dirtbikes. Some how Daniel has found himself in a fight with one of the kids from the dirtbike gang. After being humileatied infront of everybody Daniel may have to vist the crazy maintence guy Miyagi to learn Karate and win back Ali.
