15: Explain what happened at the climax and explain why you think that is the climax.
Just to warn you this will have a lot of spoilers. I think the climax of the book was when Janie found that her parents really did kidnap her and that they actually are her grandparents. I feel that this was the climax because it was the most exciting part of the book for me. It was exciting because she finds out that all along she actually was kidnapped but it’s not that bad because they are her grandparents and they did it to make sure Janie was safe. The other reason why i think it’s the climax is because you finally found out everything that has happened which makes it the most interesting part of the book aswell.
16. Tell what you think could be changed in the book to make it better for readers.
If I could change anything I think I would make it a little more realistic. I know I have been complaining about this for the whole time I’ve been reading this book but i just can’t believe they’re allowed to drive without a licenses. There were a few other things aswell but manly the driving thing because they do it more than once. If Caroline B Cooney changed that then i think viewers like me wouldn’t get so annoyed at all those details. The rest of the book is great and I would recommend it to anyone especially if they don’t mind 15 year olds being able to drive without licenses.
I haven’t yet completed my book but i am very close and will probably be done by the end of this weekend. Also sorry this was so short.
