1. What I like about the book is that it’s about an adventure. Also it has suspense in it so your guessing about whats going to happen next. But what I dislike about the book is that they put the largest words in the world in it and they talk about studies that I’ve never heard of before like “ichthyologists.” ( I had to look in the book to spell the word.)
2. A part of the book that puzzles me is that a scientist was asked to go on an expedition to try and catch a monster that had destroyed several ships, but there was no way that the scientist could help out with the capture in any way. So why did they ask him specifically to board the ship? Why wouldn’t they get somebody else that would be able to assist in some way to the ship or capture of the monster? Another part of the book that got me puzzled was that they said to put all the speed they could into chasing the monster and then three more times they put more speed on. I thought they already said put all the speed in the first time, so why did they do it three more times?
3. What I noticed about the characters is that they all our so into there task of capturing the monster that has been destroying ships. They stay up all night on the dock looking for the monster and they broke the screw and the rudder chasing it.
