The end of Catching Fire – Weekly Reading Response Blog

Ending: In the end of catching fire Katniss and Peeta were taken out of the games. Katniss was taken with Finnick and Beete to district 13 and Peeta got captured by the capital with Johanna and Anna. Then while Katniss was recovering from her wounds Gale came and told her that President Snow bombed District 12 and nothing was left.

What puzzled me was that Katniss nor Peeta where told about the plan to get them out of the arena this puzzled me because Katniss and Peeta were the main people in the plan and they almost killed Finnick which would of ruined the plan. Also what puzzled me was that If the gamesmaker was in on the plan why would he try so hard to kill Katniss and Peeta if they were needed to put the plan into action.

Question #15

What I think the climax is when Katniss shoots the force field and the hovercraft comes and takes all the tributes. I think that is the climax because that was the part they were leading up to and that was the best part in the book with the most suspence.

Question #16

What i think they could of changed in the book was the author could of used more then one point of view. The author could of did it from the point of view of Katniss and Peeta since Katniss is just guessing what is happening where Peeta is.

My next book I just started is Mockingjay!

Check your grammar. You have an ‘I’ that is not capitalized. Also, instead of saying ‘were’ you said ‘where’. But other than that, great post! I’m looking forward to reading your next posts!
