20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

10.) The authors craft (Jules Verne) is that she writes with a lot of detail. She makes sure that every scene in the book you get a mental picture of it. Like when she described the fish caught in the fishing net or the oyster that was caught in the net, or the description of what the Natives looked like. What was effective about the way the author wrote is that she would give you a mental picture about the scene and whats going on in it. It’s one of the best descriptions in the book.

11.) What I like about the book is that its older style so I can learn about some things and see how far technology has come. Like some of the instruments they use on the Nautilus, instead of the small diving suits we have now they have diving suits in the book that are so heavy you cant walk in them. There the ones with the huge metal goldfish bowl on your head. I also learned about some fish that I’ve never heard about before too.

12.)  The only character that I relate to only a little bit is Ned Land. I relate to Ned Land only a little bit, the only thing that we have in common is that Ned Land is a Canadian and so am I. There’s not really any relationship between any of the characters and me. A little about Ned Land is that hes a Canadian and a harpooner who was sent on the Abraham Lincoln because he could shoot the best and he was supposed to shoot the monster in the water that ended up being the Nautilus.
