Wrath of Darth Maul

10 and 11. What i noticed about the author’s craft and language is that sometimes when someone is talking for along time he does something different.  He does the quotation marks at the beginning and then just a period at the end before the end of the quotations.  Then he starts a new paragraph and then it starts with quotation marks again.  This is just a little confusing but now I have gotten used to this and know who is talking.  I think the author used this method because in the part where this happened the guy who was talking was explaining something for almost two full pages.  This craft and language is unique to the book i have read so far and I am getting used to it and I like it.  But if the person is just saying something it is like a normal book.

7. One of my connections was text to text.  This connection was when Maul was fighting a snake and after he squished the snake he took bites out of it.  This reminded me of the Clone Wars show where Darth Maul is still alive and he has a snake as a protector.  This reminded me of the show because it said in the book that the snake was blue and beige  and in the show the snake is beige and the way it is described in the book it seemed like it was the same kind of snake.
