The Hunger Games

This is my third post about the Hunger Games.

Answer #13: I did not abandon this book; it was too good of a story to abandon it.

Answer #14: When I was reading this book, there was one signal that went off almost immediately. That signal was I wasn’t going to put this book down. If I read a book and it doesn’t interest me right away, I can’t get into it.  This book just caught my attention right away. Another signal was that Katniss is a fighter, and won’t give up, no matter what happens. I like that about her, because it reminds me of Bobby Pendragon in the “Pendragon” series.  He is a fighter, and won’t give up. This made me want to read it more. The last signal was how Peeta was able to live through the pain of that cut. He’s strong, and he thinks he isn’t going to win it. I realize that Katniss is the one who will have to tell him that he has a chance of winning it, just like everyone else. This reminds me of something, I just can’t put my tongue on it. These are some signals I had during the book.

Answer #15: I think the highest point of interest, or the climax, is when Katniss found Peeta. They didn’t know what was going to happen throughout the games. I found this the part where I just couldn’t stop reading. I had to keep reading to see what would happen. I think this is the climax because this is where I couldn’t stop reading, and that only happens when I am really into a book.

Answer #16: In my opinion, I don’t think I would change this book. I did not want to stop reading. I think others may have they’re opinion, but I do not think we would need to change it. I was really into this book. The storyline, characters, and everything about this book makes me want to keep reading it. It was just a good book.
