1: Tell what you like or dislike about the book?

I like how the book is really light hearted and is very jokingly written but its also a bit seriouse and I also like Janie’s (the main character) personality. Another thing that i like about the book is how you never really know whats going to happens next and there are many things that could happen like for example: Is she going to tell her parents, is she going to keep it a secret or are her parents going to find out for them selves. I also like how they potray the emotions of people and make it almost like they are real living people for example: When Janie thinks shes been kidnapped shes doubting it because its too scary to be true and shes having all these flash back but she can’t accept that that ever happened because shes scared. So far I have not really had any complaints with the book.

2. Tell about the parts of your book that puzzled you or made you ask a question.

At the begginning of my book two of the questions revolved around her being obsessed with names. I asked: Why is she so obsessed with name? later i got an answer, shes obsessed with names because hers is so boring and she wants a more intresting and exciting name that will stand out. i also asked: Nobody is going to see the way she spells her name unless she writes it down so what was the point of changing it? Later on in the book i had aquestion about highschool and driving: Don’t you have to be 16 to drive? (I asked this because she’s taking her drivers test and shes only 15) Isn’t high school lunch period and hour? (because for them it’s 15 or 30 minutes) and then i had alot of questions abiout the kidnapping: Why doesn’t she confront her parents? Does she have a birth certificate? How could Janie not remember she had been kidnapped?

3.Tell what you noticed about the characters, such as what made them act as they did or how they changed.

At first Janie was very happy and comfortable with her life but as soon as she found out that she might have been kidnapped her perosnality has completely changed. She always goes into daymares (like daydreams but the nightmare version) and she can’t control them. Certain things remind her of this woman who could possibly be her mother. She also now acts very diffrent around her mother and father. It said in the book that shewould have run up and hugged her “father” but she didn’t want to because her father might have kidnapped her. Another Character i noticed that has changed is Reeve, Ever since he found out what Janies mothe and his mom said about him being dumb he’s been trying to study abit more and has been very sad. Although he can still manage to smile and laugh.

4.Write about something in the book that surprised you or that you found interesting.

In this book there have been alot of things that have suprised me and for some reason above all those intresting and suprising things the most suprising to me is that when your 15 you can learn to drive a car. To me this is both intresting and suprising because people are debating if 16 is a young age to be driving at. personally i think 15 is way to young to be driving at. Another thing that i found surising was that she didn’t even remember being stolen. She was five when she was kidnapped…isn’t that an age where you start to remember things? Especially big things like being kidnapped!
