i have finished reading the book Gangsta Rap. the book is about three boys Rap, Prem, and Tyrone who want to be a famous rap group. in the beginning of the book the three boys arent doing so well. ray has his own troubles at home and gets expelled from his school permantly. tyrone and prem also have there own issues with thier parents not supported them with thier rapping, plus they are also doing bad in school. as time goes by they become really really famous and everyone in London knows them and they also want to make it big in America. there rap group name becomes Positive Negatives. with them being so famous a rivarly starts with another rap group Western Alliance, Positive Negatives are from the eat side of London and the other rap group are from the west side. Positve Negatives get threatning phone calls about ending thier career, and killing people. at one of the Positive Negatvies concerts a fan gets stabbed and at another a fan gets shot. at time goes by ray finds a girlfriend but sadly she ends up getting shot and dies. they end up finding out that the Western Alliance also get threatning phone calls. the whole time Positive Neagtvies thought that Western Alliance were the ones making threatning phone calls, who they called “The Messenger”, but Western Alliance thought that it was the other way around. in the end they end up finding out that it wasnt Western Alliance and that it wasnt Positive Negatives making the phone calls. Positive Negatives and Western Alliance end up becoming friends and the three boys get what they have always wanted, to be one big famous rap group. in my opinion the book was good and really interesting to read.
