Mockingjay, Suzanne Collins~ Chapter 10 & 11 [featuring some tidbits from 9] SPOILER ALERT!

5. Write your predictions and about whether your predictions were right.

Well, in chapter 9- I predicted, “Katniss will probably crack on her crew & insects.” and she hasn’t exactly done that, so far but I still think she will. Also, another prediction in that same chapter I predicted that “Peeta will try to escape”, followed by a sticky note prediction that said, “The capitol will kill Beetee, soon?” Also, from chapter 10- I predicted, “When Prim gets BOMBED Katniss will probably rage on the capitol and kill some people maybe, too.” (; FUN TIMES! (Sarcasm…)

7. Tell about the connections that you made while reading the book. Tell how it reminds you of yourself, of people you know, or of something that happened in your life. It might remind you of other books, especially the characters, the events, or the setting.

(Page 128): “TS- I have a Blackberry cell-phone”. From the sentence, ‘My fingers encircle a blackberry…’

(Page 128): “TT- Reminds me of ‘T.H.G’ where they sat on the hill.” From when it was the Annual Hunger Games & Katniss and Gale were talking.

(Page 129): “I remember when President Snow gave Katniss the blood-odored rose. BLEHH!”  From the begging of the book, I think.

(Page 130): “TS- Reminds me of dad, Ethan and Andy- they talk about bikes (Motocross) 24-7!” TRUE FACT, BRO.

8. Write about the author’s style and how it makes you feel.

It makes me feel so happy. I don’t know why, just so happy.

9. Write about the language the author used and why you think the author wrote this way.

The author used very amazing language with an amazing amount of details an I just love how she does that. So excellent! ALSO, the author probably wrote this way because she wanted a far much more amount of detail so that people read more of her book(s), and in my opinion if she didn’t have this much amount of such great and amazing detail then I’d probably not enjoy reading this book as much as I do now. (PFFT, OH MY JOSH- I’D STILL TOTALLY READ THIS BOOK!) (;
