Johnny stabbed David from the socs because he cares about Ponyboy and didn’t want him to drown. Johnny at the start was a friend of Ponyboys and now because the are running away from the police they act like a family.

5. Write your predictions and about whether your predictions were right.

I am guessing that Johnny and Ponyboy are going to get a haircut and new clothes from the fifty dollars that Dally gave them, so the police cant recognize them and the could run away without being put on the electric chair. They are probably going get caught from the police either way.

4. Write about something in the book that surprised you or that you found interesting.

What I found interesting about the book is that the socs are so mean to the greasers. The greasers have a hard life making money unlike the socs that have all the money they wanted and mustangs too. They think that they can own everything like the greasers territory.They come in whenever they want and destroying the greasers home.
