Question 7: A connection i have with the book is, in chapter 7 it introduced another character, she is 3 years old and her name is Kyra. The connection i have to this character is, i have a 3 year old cousin and i watch her, so i can relate to the way that she speaks and her actions. I find this a good connection to have with the book, because she is a character and it is always good to be able to connect to a character! This is a connection i have with the book, another connection i have with the book is the way that they think and the way the answer questions.
Question 9: The language that Stephen King uses more descriptive words and he makes the characters swear and in the narration it swears sometimes but not very often. The language is appropriate for the most part, but sometimes its just over the top. It is effective though, because if its bolded or the person is swearing you can tell that they are mad and you can tell that they are angry. I find this language effective and interesting as well as a great way to have a little comedy and some fun reading!!!
Question 12: In my book i cant relate to any of the characters, but i can relate a few family members or other people in the world to some characters in my book such as the young girl Kyra i can relate her to my cousins Jayden, Mike Noonan reminds me of Stephen King in a way where he cares about others and is a best selling novelist, and Mattie (Kyra’s mom) reminds me of my Aunt or my sister or even Sierra because they are all protective of little kids and when Mattie realized that Kyra was missing she was very worried and that sound like a thing a lot of people would do, but those people jumped out at me right away as something that they would do!
