Wrath of Darth Maul – Weekly Reading Response Blog

I am almost done my book. It is really good, but i don’t know what to read next.

1. What I like about my book is that it is filled with action in every chapter. Like in the chapter I am in now it is Darth Maul battling Obi- Wan and Qui- Gon Jinn and it is really action filled and gives me a good picture in my head of what is happening. Also this book is all about Darth Maul and I really like how Darth Maul acts and also how he fights and his speech. Another thing I like is that the action parts and even the parts in between are very descriptive and that helps me get a better image of what is happening. Also I can understand the text better and I can visualize the story better.

3. What I noticed about Darth Maul as the book went on is that when he was younger he didn’t understand his Master’s way of teaching him and torturing him. But as the book progressed I noticed that Maul gained more respect and knowledge from his Master’s ways of teaching. Also Maul began gaining more respect for the ways of the Dark Side of the force and gaining more confidence in himself. Also he understood his Master more as he aged and he also respected his Master more.

4. Something that I found interesting in my book is that the part that is in episode one it tells ex actually what you see in the movie but from Maul’s point of view. Also I found it surprising that when Maul was fighting Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon it said he was in complete control with the fight. But in the movie it didn’t look like he was in complete control but apparently he was.
