The hunger games. Book review – Weekly Reading Response Blog

The hunger games is honestly such a good book, you’ll love it just as soon as you start reading it.
It took me 2 days too read it, I just wouldn’t put the book down, the constant suspense kept me turning page after page.

It all starts off with the lottery which is where one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 from each district are selected by annual lottery to participate in the Hunger Games, an event in which the participants (or “tributes”) must fight in an outdoor arena controlled by the Capitol, until only one remains. A gir (Katniss) from District 12 who volunteers for the 74th annual Hunger Games in place of her younger sister, Prim.
Then the boy who also got picked for the annual lottery in district 12 was Peeta.

I think that teens and adults would enjoy this book and I forsure suggest you start reading it if you haven’t already.

15. Explain what happened at the climax and explain why you think that is the climax.

16. Tell what you think could be changed in the book to make it better for readers.
